Every Mom Needs This Weekend Away!
So this past weekend I went to Pj's and Pigtails in Stuart Ia. Pj's and Pigtails is a scrapbooking bed and breakfast and let me tell you it was wonderful! Just so so so much fun. We arrived at 5pm with a very warm welcome by Tammie and Mary (sisters - its a family business). We were served home cooked meals all weekend long including dinner by candlelight in our pjs on Saturday night. They kept our drinks filled and tended to anything we needed. The beds were sooo comfortable and with non stop scrapbooking all weekend long I managed to be productive too! It was so relaxing and fun that I'mm already looking to make my reservations for the spring! Who's in?

A Poem
Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her 'beauty tips.' It was read at her funeral years later.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
